Laurie's professional journey includes serving as a Care Coordinator in wraparound services throughout Montgomery County and as a school-based Mental Health Therapist at a specialized institution for students with social, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Her specialization includes addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, trauma, and family/relationship dynamics. Laurie's passion lies in promoting adaptive socio-emotional functioning and developmental growth among special needs children and their families.

​Laurie's academic background is complemented by her commitment to ongoing training in various therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
